What Are the Benefits of RCEP for Indonesia?

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) was officially signed on Sunday (11/15). Indonesia was one of the initiators of the trade cooperation when acting as the chair of the association of southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 2011.
"Today was a historic day. We signed the RCEP, Which requires political commitment at the highest level. For Indonesia, we still welcome more countries in the region to join RCEP," President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) revealed.
Launched in 2012, RCEP is a trade pact between 10 ASEAN countries and ASEAN's five largest trading partners, such as China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. India initially joined the RCEP but officially withdrew last year.
