Opening Data, Issuing Derivatives of Job Creation Law

Reviewing documents
Summary

The government will open a data room regarding the Job Creation Law and its supporting documents. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, said that the disclosure of data was the beginning of drafting and issuance of derivative regulations of the Job Creation Law.

According to Airlangga, there will be 37 Government Regulations (PP) and five Presidential Regulations (Perpres) which are derivatives of the Job Creation Law. These derivative regulations, he said, are expected to be completed in 2021. After the data room is opened, Airlangga hopes that the public can study the Job Creation Law and its derivative regulations. He also claimed that the government was willing to accept suggestions for PP and Perpres derived from the Job Creation Law. "We hope to reunite this nation and answer the challenge of creating more jobs," he said.
