Pertamax Lifting at Cilacap Refinery Rises to 1,513 Million Barrels

Summary

Pertamax fuel production at PT Pertamina's Cilacap Residual Fluid Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) Refinery Unit (RU) IV increases. The production and shipping (lifting) of Pertamax fuel at the Cilacap refinery shows an upward trend. "The lifting in September 2020 rose to 1,513 million barrels from 1,227 million barrels in September 2019," Pertamina Manager of Communications, Relations, and CSR for Cilacap RU IV Hatim Ilwan said in a press release.

According to Hatim, the increase in Pertamax fuel lifting can be seen as an indicator of increasing public awareness to use eco-friendly fuels. "The RFCC refinery is the pioneer of Pertamina's modern refinery, which is eco-friendly and continues to improve its product standards to match the Euro 4 or Euro 3 standards. It continues with the presence of the Langit Biru Cilacap Refinery, and Cilacap Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) Project that is currently underway," he said.
