PHE Raja Tempirai Spuds Its First Well Since Taking Over Raja Block

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Raja Tempirai did the initial drilling or spudding for the development of AH-A5 in Raja/Pendopo Block on September 30. General Manager PHE Raja Tempirai Rahmad Wibowo said the spudding was a historic moment for the subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi because it was the first drilling for PHE Raja Tempiral since it took over the work area in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir, South Sumatera, in July 2019. 

The drilling process for the development of AH-A5 is expected to finish within 21 days, with 6,300 feet depth. The AH-A5 drilling uses Rig PDSI OW760/1000 HP owned by PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI). “We work for the best so that the AH-A5 well can improve oil production and give an additional contribution in revenue sharing to the region,” said Rahmad in a press statement on Thursday.
