Bank Mandiri Alumni at BNI

As the largest shareholder, the Indonesian government replaced PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk’s (BNI) board of directors through the extraordinary general meeting on Wednesday (9/2). Surprisingly, five new BNI directors were former PT Bank Mandiri Tbk officials, including Royke Tumilaar, the president of Bank Mandiri.

The government also appointed four other Bank Mandiri officials as BNI’s new directors: Silvano Rumantir, David Pirzada, Muhammad Iqbal, and Novita Widya Anggraini. Silvano Rumantir, the former Director of Finance at Bank Mandiri, is now BNI’s corporate banking director. On the other hand, David Pirzada, Bank Mandiri’s senior vice president of wholesale banking, holds the director of risk management position. Muhammad Iqbal, the previous senior vice president for MSME banking at Bank Mandiri, is BNI’s new director of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Meanwhile, Novita Anggraini is the current BNI’s finance director after serving as senior vice president for strategy and performance management at Bank Mandiri.

The new composition of BNI’s board of directors, appointed at the extraordinary general meeting on September 2, 2020, is as follows.

3. Director of Risk Management: David Pirzada
4. Director of Treasury and International Banking: Henry Panjaitan
5. Director of Consumer Business: Corin Leyla Karnalies
6. Director of MSME Business: Muhammad Iqbal
7. Director of Information Technology and Operations: Y.B. Hariantono
8. Director of Human Capital and Compliance: Bob Tyasika Ananta
9. Director of Institutional Relations: Sis Apik Wijayanto
10. Director of Corporate Banking: Silvano Rumantir
11. Director of Network and Service: Ronny Wenir
