The Ministry of Transportation casts a plan to abolish mandatory COVID-19 rapid and swab test requirements for aircraft passengers. Transportation Ministry's Director General of Civil Aviation Novie Riyanto said that he is reviewing the matter with the COVID-19 Task Force. "That the Task Force's authority, we only carry it out," he said, Tuesday (8/4).
Spokesperson of the Transportation Ministry's Directorate General of Air Transportation Budi Prayitno said the requirements for rapid and swab tests for airplane passengers are also in the hands of the Ministry of Health.
