Why Did Foreign Investors Flee from the Financial Markets?
Financial markets were depressed earlier in the week. Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) fell 2.78 percent to 5,006.22 at the close, Monday (8/3), as foreign investors sold Rp 148 trillion in stakes. In the first trading session, JCI had even dropped more than 4 percent.
