SOE Commissioners Among Ombudsman Selection Committees

President Joko Widodo has chosen several commissioners from the State-Owned Enterprises as selection committees for the Members of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia. They will select prospective members who will serve in the agency for the 2021-2026 period.

The figures sitting on the committee positions are Chandra Hamzah, M. Yusuf Ateh, Abdul Ghaffar Rozin, Jury Ardiantoro, and Francisia Saveria Sika Ery Seda. Four of them served as BUMN commissioners. Candra Hamzah is the President Commissioner of Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN); Yusuf Ateh is a Commissioner of PT Dirgantara Indonesia; Abdul Ghaffar Rozin acts as Commissioner of Waskita Beton Precast, a subsidiary of Waskita Karya; and Jury Ardiantoro is now the Deputy IV of the Presidential Staff Office, once served as PT Jasindo Commissioner.
