Targeting 250 BPOD of Oil, PEP Spudding Wells in Prabumulih Field

Summary

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Pertamina EP (PEP) started the spud in of the LBK INF-2 well in Lembak Village, Lembak District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra on July 7. The well exists in the Prabumulih Field area, which PEP Asset 2 manages. Therefore, Prabumulih Field Manager Ndirga Andri Sisworo said the drilling of the well to the final depth of 1,718 meters took place with strict health protocols.

"The production target is 250 bopd for oil and 0.5 MMscfd for gas," he said in a written statement on Friday (10/7). The PEP Asset 2 technical team carries out directional drilling from the Talang Akar layer, with an estimated total time of 49 working days. After the drilling is complete, PEP Asset 2 Prabumulih Field will be responsible for managing the well.
