SKK Migas Asks Oil and Gas Reserve Owners to Submit PoD

The Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Special Task Force (SKK Migas) is asking Texcal Mahato, Medco E&P, and Pertamina EP to immediately submit a plan of development (PoD) for the latest reserve findings in their oil and gas fields. By quickly providing a PoD, SKK Migas Head Dwi Soetjipto said oil and gas field development could be implemented soon.

"The finding of gas reserves in the Bronang-2 well, for example, will support the development of the Forel Field, which has the potential to increase production to 10,000 BOPD," he said. According to SKK Migas Deputy of Operations Julius Wiratno, the task force is preparing everything needed so that Texcal Mahato, Medco E&P, and Pertamina EP can immediately submit a PoD. Thus, their wells can quickly carry out production.
