Breaking News: PSBB in Jakarta Enters Transition Period

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan extended the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in June 2020. Some social and economic activities will start running by implementing health protocols. However, the Covid Task Force and the Jakarta Provincial Government will stop all activities that have been running if the number of active COVID-19 cases rise again.

"The transition period starts tomorrow until it ends. It's not mentioned until when because it will adjust to the latest developments," Anies said in a virtual press conference in Jakarta on Thursday (6/4). The provincial government is also developing a protocol that will guide community activities in adapting to new normal conditions.
