Bukit Tua Phase-3 Project Completed Amid Falling Oil Prices

Petronas Carigali Ketapang II Ltd has completed the Bukit Tua Phase-3 Field Development Project. This oil and gas field located in the Ketapang Block can produce up to 31.5 MMscfd. Besides gas, the Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Task Force (SKK Migas) Head Dwi Soetjipto said the Bukit Tua Phase-3 Field also produces 3,182 barrels of oil per day (bopd).

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic and the falling oil prices, SKK Migas is very appreciative of Petronas's commitment to completing the Bukit Tua Phase-3 Project. "Bukit Tua Phase-3 development is an essential project, considering it produces a large additional oil and gas output," Dwi said on Friday, April 1. The development of this oil and gas field in the waters of Madura, East Java, spent an investment of US$ 15.1 million.
