The head of the supervisory board for the Indonesian Shopping Center Association (APBBI), Handaka Santosa, unveiled the drastic drop of shopping center visitors as the public fear of contracting the Covid-19 was increasing.

APPBI believed that shopping centers and malls would face the hardest period in the coming days since the positive cases in Indonesia kept increasing. On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, the government announced that the country currently recorded a total of 34 Covid-19 positive cases and one death.
