PGN to Restructure Subsidiaries

Summary

State-owned gas provider PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) plans a business restructuring, streamlining its subsidiaries, and increasing efficiency. The company plans to merge several subsidiaries with the same business lines as well as dives some subsidiaries, PGN President Director Gigih Prakoso told Kontan on Monday (2/17).

PGN eyes to complete the restructuring process within two years. After finished, the company will focus more on transmission, distribution, storage, and trading of pipeline gas, as well as the LNG and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) business.
