Indofarma Aims to Expand Business in Health Industrial Park

Summary

PT Indofarma Tbk will develop a health industrial park in Cibitung, West Java. The state-owned medical toolmaker will collaborate with several producers and principals or brand owners under a joint operation scheme or joint venture scheme to operate the area.

Indofarma’s director, Herry Triyanto, revealed that the industrial park would produce various goods, from disposable medical tools, diagnostic device, to hospital furniture. The plan is also in line with the government’s effort to increase investments in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. The Industry Ministry is also encouraging medical and pharmaceutical companies in priority industries to enter industrial parks to bring environmental damage down to the minimum level.
