Indonesian Government Adds More Debt

Summary

The Finance Ministry has approved six foreign loan agreements, both bilateral and multilateral, throughout January 2020. The total value reached US$ 834.32 million

The deals include debt worth US$ 100 million from the World Bank for the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry, a loan worth US$ 300 million from the World Bank for the State Affairs Ministry, and debt worth US$ 70 million from the Islamic Development Bank.

As for bilateral debts, they are worth US$ 109.84 million from the French government and US$ 254 million from the Japanese government.
