META Consortium to Build a Toll Road Worth Rp 21.5 Trillion

PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk formed a Jakarta Metro Expressway (JMEX) consortium to work on toll road projects. This consortium is collaborating with PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI), PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST), and PT Triputra Utama Selaras. Through the consortium, the META-coded company will build the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) Elevated for the 22-kilometer Cikunir-Ulujami Section. This toll road project is worth Rp 21.5 trillion.

In a public disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Thursday, February 6, PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk Corporate Secretary Dahlia Evawani stated that META hoped for a significant increase in revenue from the project and an increase in the value of the company's assets to approximately five times of the current value. The company is currently preparing various documents related to the tender pre-qualification stage. It already has a principle permit issued on December 11, 2018, from the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry and an initiative permit obtained on January 21, 2020.
