Last Year's Economy Growth Lower Than Expected
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani estimates that Indonesia's economic growth slowed last year to only 5.05 percent. This figure is far from the target set at 5.3 percent in the 2019 State Budget (APBN).
"The realization of economic growth is estimated at 5.05 percent. In the 2019 APBN, the figure is 5.3 percent," Sri Mulyani said. She added that investment or gross fixed capital formation (PMTB) grew by five percent last year. As for this year, it is even under four percent. Meanwhile, exports in 2019 grew above five percent.
