Government to Formulate Renewable-Energy-Based Electricity Tariffs

Summary

The government plans to rearrange a tariff list for the electricity generated from renewable power plants. According to the Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Arifin Tasrif, the government would employ a feed-in tariff in the new formula.

The new tariff will appear in the presidential regulation, currently processed in the State Secretary. In the future, the government will determine the electricity tariff generated from a renewable power plant based on the source it uses.
