Alodokter vs. Halodoc: Fierce War

Summary

Indonesian health tech service startup, Alodokter, announced it had received a Series C funding worth US$ 33 million or around Rp 468 billion on October 16, 2019.

The latest funding round for Alodokter was led by Sequis Life, with additional participation from Philips, Heritas Capital Management, Hera Capital, and Dayli Partners Korea. Golden Gate Ventures and Softbank, as the previous investors, were also participated in the joint venture capital.

Alodokter will use the new fund for the development of insurance services and doctors' booking services. It also intends to expand its service coverage in other cities in Indonesia and Thailand.
