Archi Indonesia Opens New Pit at Toka Tindung Gold Mine

Gold miners PT Archi Indonesia Tbk (ARCI) opened Alaskar pit and completed stage 5 development of Araren pit to ramp up gold production. Both pits, located at the Toka Tindung Gold Mine, have higher average gold reserves. The Alaskar pit will be the largest contributor to gold ore reserves in 2022 and the following years. In addition, Peter Sondakh company has also run various cost-efficiency and productivity-enhancing initiatives.

The company entered into a new strategic partnership for Drill & Blast activities. Based on Archi Indonesia's internal research, this partnership can save up to US$30 million in the next five years. "Our initiatives may increase our mining and production throughput and provide efficiency in fuel use and overall mining costs," Archi Indonesia President Director Ken Crichton said on Wednesday.
