The Omnibus Law, which regulates 10 clusters, ranging from the investment ecosystem to ease of doing business and strategic government projects, has drawn resistance from many groups.

Not only from the workers, academics and religious organizations such as Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) also voiced criticism of the birth of this law. During the discussion, two factions in parliament, namely the PKS and the Democrats, voiced rejection.
