Summary

The Indonesian government has decided to postpone the construction of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train station in Karawang Regency, West Java, for six months.

"Because the focus is on Jakarta-Bandung. The Padalarang and Tegalluar stations are the priorities," State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir said on Monday.

Minister Erick has talked to West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil about the delay and the plan to make Tegalluar a new development area in Bandung Regency.

"About Tegalluar, there has been an agreement with the local government to make it a new city. This is good to ease the pressure on Bandung," he said.
