Demonstration of Loyalty and Commitment in NasDem Political Visits

NasDem Party Chairman Surya Paloh, accompanied by several party officials, visited the Golkar Party Central Leadership Council office in West Jakarta on Wednesday. The general chairman of the Golkar Party and Coordinating Minister Airlangga and several party officials welcomed Surya and his entourage.

Surya said a visit to the party bearing the banyan tree was a priority for NasDem. Meanwhile, Airlangga stated that his meeting with Surya was a gathering between parties supporting President Joko Widodo's government. He said the two discussed the various challenges the nation was going through.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesia is currently entering a climate of uncertainty. Moreover, this year is a political year. Airlangga said that Golkar and NasDem must remain solid as the coalition of government parties. "So, we agreed as two political parties that are members of the governing coalition, communication is mandatory so that we know each other and have mutual understanding," Airlangga said.
