Waiting for BCA's Big Corporate Action
PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) has set aside around Rp 2 trillion-Rp 3 trillion for inorganic expansion and, if necessary, adding extra capital for its subsidiaries. BCA president director Jahja Setiaatmadja assured the company had no big plan. "But every year, we always reserve funds for it, including to increase the capital of our subsidiaries. This year, we set aside around Rp 2 trillion-Rp 3 trillion," Jahja said on Tuesday.
Currently, BCA already has nine subsidiaries: PT BCA Finance with total assets of Rp 8.49 trillion as of the end of 2022, BCA Finance Limited with Rp 1.22 trillion worth of assets, PT Bank BCA Syariah with assets worth Rp 12.6 trillion, and PT BCA Sekuritas with assets worth Rp 1.23 trillion, PT Asuransi Umum BCA with assets worth Rp 2.4 trillion, BCA Multi Finance with assets worth Rp 1.52 trillion, PT Asuransi Jiwa BCA with assets worth Rp 2.3 trillion, PT Central Capital Ventura with assets worth Rp 480.6 million, and Bank BCA Digital with assets worth Rp 11.05 trillion.
