Summary

Katalis, a business development program supported by the Indonesian and Australian governments, announced its partnership with Australian fintech company SkyCredit Group to tap into the electric motorcycle market in Indonesia. They will analyze the market's potential and identify opportunities for the SkyCredit Group.

"The market for electric two-wheeled vehicles in Indonesia is certainly a game changer in the transition towards the country's transport decarbonization. Despite the growing demand, financing options remain limited for Indonesia's unbanked or underbanked population. With Katalis's support, our value proposition would make electric two-wheelers more accessible and, in the long run, contribute to a sustainable urban-mobility system," SkyCredit managing director Paul Wals revealed in a written statement on Monday.
