Summary

A venture capital firm from Australia, Mandalay Venture Partners, plans to invest in 30 startups in Australia and Southeast Asia. Mandalay Ventures head of strategy Philippe Ceulen revealed that the company might invest in startups in Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia in the near future. "Mandalay is on the lookout for cornerstone limited partners based in Southeast Asia," Ceulen revealed, as quoted by Tech In Asia.

According to Ceulen, Mandalay Venture is not interested in funding established agritech startups that offer nothing new. It also prioritizes startups focusing on food sustainability, including those providing solutions to climate change.
