Aneka Jaringan, Samaiden Group Aim for Indonesian Solar PV Market
Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd and Samaiden Group Bhd have entered into a joint venture (JV) agreement that will create new revenue streams for both companies via engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning (EPCC) of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and power plants in Indonesia. The Sun Daily reported that this JV provides Samaiden access to the Indonesian market and allows Aneka Jaringan, which already has a presence in Indonesia via its subsidiary PT Aneka Jaringan Indonesia, to add value chain to its fast-growing segment.
Pang Tse Fui, Aneka Jaringan Managing Director, said this JV is in line with its growth strategy of expanding its operations in Indonesia and increasing its revenue streams. “Our new Jakarta office is nearing completion, ready to welcome a new JV company. This will enable them to hit the ground running to tap into Indonesia’s 400,000 megawatts (MW) solar power potential. This JV company is expected to strengthen Aneka Jaringan’s value chain and business resilience while contributing to Indonesia’s carbon neutrality goal,” he said Tuesday.
