The government lobbied potential investors at the 2022 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting. On May 22, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto met with Qualcomm's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Cristiano Amon, at Qualcomm Haus, Davos-Switzerland. Both discussed the development and potential of digitalization in Indonesia.

Airlangga discussed the Indonesian government's efforts in supporting the digital transformation process, including encouraging the business climate and investment in the digital sector. "With investment regulations transformation, Qualcomm can expand its business network to Indonesia, especially regarding the development of 5G infrastructure and other digital sectors in the country," he said.
