The so-called “independent” or privately-funded vaccination program is happening, as revealed by the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Minister, Erick Thohir, during "The Indonesia 2021 Summit: The Future is Now," a virtual event held on Tuesday (2/23).

Erick confirmed that about 3.5 million doses of the corona vaccine would arrive in Indonesia in March 2021. The vaccine will be used for the jointly procured but privately funded vaccination program. The government aims to bring in 20 million doses of vaccine for 10 million people registered in the program.
