Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin will provide digital health certificates to residents who undergo COVID-19 vaccination. Budi said that the certificate could make it easier for residents who want to travel. "Certificate holders do not have to show a negative PCR or antigen test if they want to fly or order tickets," he said at the House of Representatives Commission IX Working Meeting, Thursday (1/14).

Budi said that the certificate is intended to attract people to undergo vaccination. According to him, the certificate can also support the health protocols implementation. Citizens who are about to come to a shopping center or attend a crowd can present the certificate. The government would also develop an application for the digital certificate in collaboration with domestic digital app developers.
