The Salim Group, through PT Indolife Pensiontama, bought 422.8 million shares of Bank Mega, a bank owned by businessman Chairil Tandjung, The 6.07-percent of MEGA’s total shares valued at about Rp 3 trillion.

In a report to PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia on January 4, 2021, for owning more than five percent of MEGA’s total shares, Indolife Pensiontama (Salim Group) apparently bought Bank Mega’s shares in three installment payments, and the last one took place on December 30, 2020.
