The government believes that the Job Creation Law (UU) or the Omnibus Law on Job Creation will have a positive impact on the telecommunications sector. The Communication and Informatics Minister (Menkominfo), Johnny G Plate, stated that the Job Creation Law encourages the use of sharing infrastructure that could reduce the capital expenditure (capex/capital expenditure) of telecommunications companies.

Therefore, telecommunication companies do not need to build their own infrastructure. "The passage of the law allows for a digital dividend that affects telecommunications users. It could generate job openings, up to 3.7 million new jobs, and bring in billions of dollars," Johnny revealed.
