Who Will be Benefited from Revocation of KUR Restriction?

Summary

The government eased the rules on the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR). The government officially increases the portion of KUR distribution to the non-production or trade sector following the decision on November 12, 2019, which set the distribution target to the production sector at least 60 percent of the total KUR distribution. The remaining 40 percent would be allocated to the non-production or trade sector.

After the relaxation, KUR distribution will no longer be limited to 60:40 portion, so that the entire sector may enjoy KUR. The new KUR policy will be effective until the end of 2021. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the restrictions revocation was done to encourage the acceleration of economic recovery in the third and fourth quarters of 2020.
