The government officially places its funds in seven Regional Development Banks (BPDs) with a total budget of Rp 11.5 trillion. From the seven regional banks, only five have received funding. The other two are still being reviewed.

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said the placement of funds focuses on helping economic recovery, especially in the regions. The five BPDs are PT BPD Jawa Barat Tbk (Rp 2.5 trillion), BPD DKI (Rp 2 trillion), BPD Jawa Tengah (Rp 2 trillion), PT BPD Jawa Timur Tbk (Rp 2 trillion), and BPD Sulawesi dan Gorontalo (Rp 1 trillion). Meanwhile, the planned fund placement in BPD Bali (Rp 1 trillion) and BPD Yogyakarta (Rp 1 trillion) are still under the evaluation stage.
