KAI's New 'Locomotive' and Bank Mandiri Executives Domination in SOEs
State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir assigned PT Kereta Api Indonesia's finance director Didiek Hartantyo as the president director of the state-owned railroad company, substituting Edi Sukmoro. Special Staff of SOEs Minister Arya Sinulingga said Didiek's appointment follows the company's reorganization plan. "Besides Didiek, other directors were also replaced," said Arya, Friday, May 8.
KAI former President Director Edi Sukmoro advised Didiek as his successor to bring KAI far better than ever. "In these difficult times, I hope that there be no layoffs because lower-level employees need to be supported to survive," he said. The other new directors of KAI are Jeffrie N. Korompis, who is the Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development, Rivan Achmad Purwantono, who serves as Finance Director, Maqin U. Norhadi as Commerce Director, and Agung Yunanto who serves as Human and General Resources Director.
