PKS and Democrats Withdraw from the Discussion of the Omnibus Bill

Two parties ensured that they would not participate in the discussion of the Job Creation Bill. The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) will not participate in the discussion of the Job Creation Bill in the Working Committee (Panja) of the House of Representatives (DPR). PKS steps followed by the Democratic Party which withdrew its members from membership in Panja.

The Working Committee on the Bill, commonly called the Omnibus Law, was officially formed by the Legislative Body of the DPR on Monday, April 20. From the list of names of leaders and members sent by the Deputy Chair of the Legislative Assembly of the House of Representatives Willy Aditya, the PKS Faction did not deposit the names of its members to join the Panja. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party decided to withdraw on Tuesday (4/21).
