The Legislative Body (Baleg) of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the government resumed discussion of the Job Creation Bill, commonly called the Omnibus Law, on Tuesday (4/14). The meeting agreed to form a Working Committee (Panja) consisting of 35 DPR members to discuss the bill.

According to Supratman Andi Agtas, Chairperson of the DPR Legislative Body, the working committee was tasked with discussing the problem inventory list (DIM) collected from all factions in the DPR. The formulation will be carried out through a public test involving academics, trade unions, employers, and the public. The discussion of regulations in the bill will begin with the least controversial provisions.
