The Finance Ministry, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, officially issued the legal base for the tax incentives to ease the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Indonesian economy through the Finance Ministerial Regulation (PMK) No. 2/2020 on incentives for taxpayers affected by the coronavirus.

The ministry’s incentives are for the four most essential taxes: the general income tax (PPh21), import income tax (PPh22), monthly tax installment (PPh25), and value-added tax.
