Former BPPN Official Appointed as Insurance Holding Head

Summary

State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Minister Erick Thohir appointed former Indonesian Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) Director, Robertus Bilitea, as the president director of PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (BPUI) on Tuesday, February 11. In addition to Robertus, there are also two other new directors: Rizal Ariansyah as general and financial director and Ponder Silitonga as business director.

Founded on April 17, 1973, the state-owned financial service company has five subsidiaries, namely Bahana Sekuritas, Bahana Artha Ventura, Bahana TCW Investment Management, Bahana Kapital Investa, and Grahaniaga Tatautama. Minister Erick plans to appoint BPUI as state insurance holding in charge of Perum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo), Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo), Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo), and Jasa Raharja.
