Indonesia May Get Expelled from US’ Nation List for Trade Benefits

Summary

After removing India from the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is considering expelling Indonesia from such a scheme.

As quoted from Economic Times, Tuesday (2/11), USTR removed a host of countries including India, Indonesia, Brazil, and South Africa on account that these countries are in the G20 Block and should be classified as developed countries which no longer eligible from getting particular preference.
