Medium Banks Expand Debtors Through Digital Credit

PT Bank Pembangunan Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) intends to launch digital credit services. Bank Jatim Finance Director Ferdian Timur Satyagraha said the online credit app for all customers of Bank Jatim would be launched in February 2020. This app is named Jatim Kilat and accessible via Android.

The ceiling size is between Rp 15 million - Rp 50 million. Requests for prospective debtors can be processed in minutes. However, Bank Jatim still has a credit guarantee, with a collateral value of 35 percent of the total loan.
