The Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Task Force (SKK Migas) revealed that Repsol is the most ambitious and aggressive in oil and gas explorations in Indonesia. Even though having discovered oil and gas reserves in Sakakemang Block last year, the company keeps continuing the project in other areas. The most recent one is the plan to conduct a seismic study in Papua this year, and a well-drilling project in Rencong 1X of Andaman II Block in the fourth quarter of 2020.
