Rupiah is in a strengthening trend against the US dollar. It was in the range of Rp 13,645, the strongest in the last two years. The rupiah has been on an upward trend since last week after the US said it would not retaliate against Iran's attacks. Thus, the market looked back at the US-China trade war, which is more likely to end peacefully with the signing of an agreement on January 15.
