Summary

A bad sign came to the capital market earlier this year. After Narada, Minna Padi, MNC Asset Management, and Jiwasraya, Asabri is now adding to the long list of investment scandals.

The problematic investment management case started when the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Ministry summoned PT Asuransi Sosial Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia (Asabri) last week. The ministry was concerned about Asabri's investment in junk stocks or third liner shares.
