Jokowi's Millennial Staff: Another Political Gimmick?
President Joko Widodo officially appointed 12 presidential special staff who will help him over the next 5 years, Thursday (11/21). Of the 12 people, seven of them are new staff consisting of young achievers from various backgrounds.
Similar to the moment of the introduction of ministers who were full of political gimmicks, the special staff were introduced to journalists with thick millennial nuances: wearing untucked white shirts, some wearing sneakers, and sitting in colorful bean bags on the terrace of the Presidential Palace.
They are Putri Indahsari Tanjung (23 years old, founder of Creativepreneur), Adamas Belva Devara (29, founder of Ruangguru), Ayu Kartika Dewi (36, co-founder of the Sabang Merauke Movement), Angkie Yudistia (32, founder of Thisable Enterprise), Gracia Billy Mambrasar (31, CEO of Kitong Bisa), Aminuddin Maruf (33, Chair of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement/PMII), and Andi Taufan Garuda (32, CEO of Amartha).
